has anyone successfully found a career via the internet??

has anyone successfully found a career via the internet??

like on yahoo jobs, hot jobs monster inc etc.

Re: has anyone successfully found a career via the internet??

I don't know about a career, but after college I didn't like my first job and posted my resume on monster.com. I wound up getting several calls from employers asking me to interview. Some of them were totally random jobs not in areas I would want to work, but I had specified that I wanted to start working on Long Island so they were all around here. I have had more luck with sites that were specific to my industry (I work in a college, so there is one with just college jobs, and I have a Master's in HR, and there is one for just HR jobs...). Good luck, trying the internet can't hurt!

I got the job I have right now via hotjobs. I can't say it is the job of my dreams but it pays the bills for the time being. I also got my last job through monster.
