Has anyone taken their nails off

Mine are shot from the move, I broke 5 of them I have had acrylics forever and was thinking about letting them breathe

If you took them off did you wind up putting them back on? I'm already married so won't need them for my wedding

I guess I will go to the salon and have them take it off. They only charge about $7. Then they can give me a manicure, or something.
