Acai Berries? Like the pills for weight loss? I've been sooo bad lately at keeping up and even when I'm trying I've just reached a total plateau and I have b-pics in 3 weeks. I've heard good things and since its natural I figure it can't hurt but I just thought I'd ask if anyone had any insight. Thanks!

Re: Has anyone tried....
I am a nutritionist and acai has not been proven to promote weight loss. It *may* be beneficial for supporting the effects of diet and exercise, such as promoting metabolism, but the studies are not conclusive and are fairly new. It has been shown to have a decent ORAC value for promoting antioxidant support, and fighting free radicals.

I tried it - it doesnt work. Start running .. A LOT and watch the carbs .. you'll see a difference.
