a friend of mine used it for awhile. She liked it but didn't see any noticable difference.

I just wonder how different it really is...I mean it's still just salcyic acid right? The stuff they use in the rest of the acne medications...

I'm just at my wits end. I am getting really crazy stress acne..I am so afraid I'm going to be a crater face on my wedding day!

I use proactiv....at the risk of sounding like a commercial--I really love it!!
It hasn't dried my face out at all but I think that depends on your skin type.
Basically-proactiv is benzoyl (sp?) peroxide is a higher concentration and it contains sulfur-which also helps a lot.
I've been to several dermatologists and this is the only thing that has helped me!
I'd definitely recommend it!

Misty - I tried Proctiv and it relly made my skin dry. It didn't work for me. The only thing that works for me when I get stress zits is to go get a facial - this will jump start my skin to get back to normal. Then, another thing I do which I swear by is take extra doses of vitamin A, E, B and zinc for a week or so. The B is for stress and it really works. The rest are for zits and good skin. It clears up my skin beautifully.

my friend used it and convinced me to get it. it was up and down .. nothing too significant. i got lazy and havent used it in months though. i think i should get back into it.

it didnt make my face overly dry or anything .. no side effects.
