Has anyone used an online jeweler?

I'm thinking of ordering FH's rings online but I'm not sure if these jewelers are legit. Anyone have any recommendations? TIA

There are some legit jewelers that also do sales online. GoodOldGold (on LI) and Exceldiamonds (in NYC diamond district) and Whiteflash (in Texas) come to mind. They have actual stores, but they also sell to people who can't come in person. Pretty big savings. I forgot the name of the website, but there's this diamond message board that deals with them a lot and taught FH and I pretty much everything we know about diamonds.

My DH got my e-ring from bluenile.com and had a great experience with them.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about deSignet . They went far above and beyond my expectations in creating the most beautiful rings we could have ever imagined, and then when I had a problem with the ring sizes (not at all their fault, someone else's), they bent over backward to fix my problem.

I sent them flowers after everything - that's how moved I was by their kindness and effort.

DH's friend got his Fiance's engagement ring from Blue Nile. He said the company is very trust worthy and very good with customer service.
We got all our rings from Good Old GOld but we actually went to the store to get it. I believe they have a on line purchase page. Check it out.

I think Blue Nile is reputable and offers a lot of education about jewerly. Our friend got his now wife's e-ring from Blue Nile.

BlueNile.com is totally legit and great to work with. I would recommend them.
