I am only doing video for the ceremony and he was the first person who was just so 'ok' about it. He didn't pressure me and just totally understood where I was coming from. I just a little worried about the price. I can't see spending more than $300 for an hour and half worth of work.....if that.

Were they flexible with price? Chuck is going to call me tomorrow.

They just called my house a little while ago! I was going to post the same thing. Lynn sounded so nice!

I just adored them and I know they know their stuff b/c I said my ceremony is in a Lutheran church and Chuck knew how strict they are with video and photography so that proved to me that they are experienced and courteous.

I just hope he comes back with a decent price. I'm on a very strict budget right now!!!

They were firm on their prices I think because of their availibility, but they through in all the extras that I asked for. I think they are worth the money. The quality of their work is very different from other studios I've seen.

Do you have photography yet? Why aren't you using them for the video?

Re: Has anyone used Artisian for video?

I'm using Patken for photography and originally wasn't going to do a video. However, I do want a tape of the ceremony b/c at a Lutheran church you cannot take pics during the ceremony. I spoke with Patken and they do not tape just the ceremony- most places do not which is why I'm hoping they can accomodate me and my tiny budget LOL

My wedding is 4 months away......I would think booking it so close to the wedding would give me some bargaining power.

Yes, I agree. That's also why I feel very comfortable with them. I could tell Chuck has a lot of experience by all of the detailed information he was able to give me.

Honestly, I don't think that's right that Patken won't accomodate one of their customers. They should help you out. I'm sure if you told them you needed video for the whole day they would jump on it.

I wouldn't mess around with this. If you can't have photos during the ceremony, then make sure you can trust whoever does the video. Don't get so hung up on the money. I would flip if their was no footage of my ceremony. That's the most important part of the day!!!

Let me know if you need anymore help!

LOL Stephanie - can you be my cheerleader when I call these places LOL. I called one place and they wanted to a microphone on my FH. They were so out of control.

I know I shouldn't care about the money but its hard not to when I'm paying for everything and we just bought a house on top of it. Funds are very limited.....I need 30 people to say no to my wedding or I don't know what I'm going to do!!!!

Maybe I'll win lotto and then this will all go away......I'll drop you a FM and let you know how it goes tomorrow.
