Thanks! I can't believe it was that much more. If you don't mind me asking you which Sandals are you going to and what travel agent are you using?

Re: Has anyone used discount-all-inclusive.com
I wanted to book through a travel agency but they gave me a higher quote than that website. So i called Liberty Travel in Bay Shore and told them the price i got from that website and they said they would match it. Try that if you don't feel comfortable booking on line.

Yes we are thinking of going to Sandals St. Lucia golf and spa for 6 nights and than Sandals Negril for 5 nights. At least that is what we are hoping to do. I am horrified at some the prices though and are funds are limited because we are paying for most of the wedding ourselves.

I was going to go to Sandals St Lucia but i would have lost the day going and coming back. So we went Sandals Dunns River. We had the best time. We flew Air Jamaica on the earliest flight possible. I think it was 8 am and we landed at about 10:30. It took us a little while to get there b/c of customs and we had to take a 2 hour bus ride but it wasn't bad. By the time i got to the resort i wouldn't even had landed in St Lucia. We could have gone to Sandals Royal Carribean which is only a 10 minute bus ride but it was all booked up. Dunns River was so great!!!! Plus Jamaica was cheaper than St. Lucia
The best part was the day we left. Air Jamaica and Sandals in Jamaica are owned by the same people so we went to the front desk at Sandals early in the morning (they call it early check in) and they took our bags on a bus and checked them for us and gave us all our boarding passes, etc. Later that day we went to the airport and we didn't have to wait on any lines or check any bags, we just went to the gate - THAT WAS SO GREAT!!

Oh that sounds so nice. I can't wait to book it and actually get there. We are planning on flying AIr Jamaica as well so hopefully they can do the same for us. What we are looking at right now is elaving on 7:10 flight monday mornign and arriving in St. Lucia at 1. I think they said it is an hour bus ride form the airport. Than spend 6 nights in St. Lucia and on the 7th day we would leave St. Lucia at 1:30 and arrive in Jamaica at 3:15. I think they said Sandals Negril is about 45 minute bus ride from the airport.
How was Jamaica overall? I've heard both ang good and bad things. Did the locals harass you? I am a little nervous about that.

We had the best time and they don't really harrass you. We didn't really go out of Sandals, just to the other side of the fence to use the jet skis. They try to get you to braid your hair and come look at their little hut store. They really are persistant but it is not a big deal, you just say no thanks.

Try to get to the airport early and say that you are newlyweds and can they bump you up to first class? Worth a try!
If not try to get the emergency exit row b/c the seats look tight!
