I used Vinny who owns High Voltage. I think he does all the gigs himself with an assistant. I got a basic 4 hrs. of music package because I m not into the laser shows/dancers/giveaways. He was so easy to work with and did a great job. There was one song that we wanted that he did not have and we did so we gave him the cd. I think that if we had not had it he would have gotten it. I highly recommend him.

I haven't used him yet, but he has been great to work with so far. If you do a search, you'll find good reviews on him.

We used High Voltage and Vinny was awesome! We are not into lights, special effects and giveaways, so our package was the basic $600. He kept everyone on the floor all night and played music appropriate for all ages.. People are still telling me what a great DJ he was.

I used Vinny of High Voltage at our wedding last July, and he was great. I highly recommend him!
To answer your questions:
A) Which DJ/ MC do you recommend?
We had Vinny himself as MC, and two assistants/dancers. Vinny is the owner.
B) Which package did you purchase? we got the top package, because we wanted all the lights and giveaways. I was happy we went for it, because it was STILL inexpensive compared to some other DJs , and it really added to the party like atmosphere we were trying to create

100% satisfied with the music selection. I did not have to provide Vinny with any music, but I'm sure if he didn't have something he would have provided it. He gives you a sheet to fill in with all your 'must play' songs and special songs, (as well as DO NOT PLAY songs) so there are no worries there
D) Are they appropriate for all ages at a formal wedding? Definitely appropriate for all ages. We had 3 little kids, up to 90 year olds - everyone had a great time. You can tailor your music to cover all varieties and age groups. Vinny is great at giving suggestions , he is experience and knows what is 'crowd pleasing'

We are using Vinny and are very excited about it! When we met him we instantly knew we would book him. We haven't decided which package we are going to choose yet but I think we will probably get an MC also so they can interact with our crowd and help make it more of a fun 'party' atmosphere

We are using Vinny also. He has been great though our sometimes endless questions. Very helpful and easy to talk to. I'm not sure what package we are getting yet. Probably one without the MC since Vinny can do all of that himself.
