Has anyone used Joel Young Band (Hank Lane)?

Hi!

Has anyone used or been to a wedding where Joel Young from Hank Lane was the band? I can't find many reviews online for them but we listened to them at the Hank Lane office and thought they were great. I would love to know if anyone has seen them in person. Thanks!

Has anyone used Joel Young Band (Hank Lane)?

I am using the J. Lamont band from hank lane. I couldnt find much about them online but I was dancing in my seat at the hank lane office. Every hank lane band is great! I hear nothing but great things about them.

I am using Dane Wright Band from Hank Lane. I wonder why we were each recommended a different band from them. ? I was excited when we booked and I always look on youtube for clips but they monitor their music on the internet so strictly.

They have so many bands that they help you choose based on your music taste and budget. And what's available for your date. I was really surprised that when we went to see them, a year and a half from our wedding, many of the popular bands were already booked :( guess thats what we get for booking a peak season wedding!

Gotcha! Makes sense. What style of music is the band you chose playing? We wanted one that would play a little of everything.

We ended up booking Joel Young Band, I'm just going to trust the Hank Lane name and what we heard. We're also getting married at The Woodlands, are you doing lighting from Hank Lane? I'm wondering if we need to bring in any lighting or if the room will be fine as is. I don't want to spend the extra money if I don't have to.

We wanted someone who could do more top 40s and dance music...upbeat and edgy.

We're not using up lighting, I don't think it's necessary and I just don't want to spend the money.

We're considering Joel Young and I also had some trouble finding reviews, wondering how they were? We had the meeting at Hank Lane on Tuesday and loved the songs they played us but am a little bummed we can't see them live so would love your feedback.
