I'm getting anxious thinking about the numerous things I'll have to change once I take FH's last name. Has anyone used www.missnowmrs.com or any other similar service? Is it worth it?
I did it just fine all on my own...I would have been pi$$ed if I spent money to do what I did myself.
Oh, by the way...do you know if I need originals of the marriage certificate (I'd have to go back to order the original copies since we got our license last week) or can I just make photocopies of the original that I have?
i would not use that service because its easy to do everything yourself, you just need to take some time to get down to the offices, etc. you will need your original copy of your marriage license when you go to the SS office and DMV. i know my HR dept where i work just wanted to see the original marriage license to make a copy of it in order to take me off my benefits, but for DH's benefits to add me on all they needed was a copy. I guess it depends on where you work. The bank from what i remember did not need the M.L... the last thing i did was send away for a new passport book, but they returned the M.L to me in the mail w/ my new passport in like a month. HTH!

Yes I did and it was a COMPLETE waste of $20. All the forms they gave me could just be printed out from the various websites for the agencies, and some of the forms they gave me weren't even necessary.
There are threads on here reminding you of everything you need to change. It really didn't take very long to get it all done.
