West Sayville is part of the Lessing's corporation and I had my wedding at Timber Point CC....I can assure you the food and service is AMAZING.

There is one bride on here having her wedding at West Sayville....I forgot who it is though...

I called Old Field Club to find out about pricing and it was $125pp and they would not budge on the price. Now, I was getting married in February and booking pretty late in the game--most places were bending over backwards for us because if they hadn't booked already I guess they weren't going to. HOnestly, I just didn't think it was worth it. My mom goes to a lot of retirement dinners there because she works in the school district and most of her colleagues agree that the food and service have gone downhill. Plus, the parking lot is notorious for flooding!!

I looked at West Sayville...it was really nce but the room was a little small and inda cut in half by a wall/glass doors????? I guess it depends on how big a wedding you're having.

I've been to all but Old Field. I'm obvioulsy biased toward Danford's, but I like it b/c it's on the water. Hamlet's food is really good. West Sayville is nice, a little bit older interior than the others.

Steph&Steve sorry we took over your thread with hamlet windwatch talk. Do you have any questions that we could answer for you?

That's no problem.
From what you all are saying the Hamlet sounds really nice. Is it pricey?

How was Danfords space wide inside, does it have outside space? How was the pricing?

I recently booked the hamlet willow creek, they have great pre-opening prices and the dvd that they give you of the place looks amazing. Any questions you can fm me. Good luck looking.

Danford's is lovely in the spring and summer, which are the only times I've been. THe food is 4 star and the hotel is nice. I didn't see the rooms they use for wedding receptions, but when we stayed there last July, we saw a wedding party there while they were taking photos, and they seemed pleased with everything.

Yup, I second that. We also checked out the hamlet willowcreek and it was really nice, and the price will make your jaw drop. It was a bit too far for us, but if it's in you area, I would def check it out!!

I visited the West Sayville CC and I really liked it a lot. It was our second choice because we fell in love with Smithtown Landing CC. I liked the idea that the dinning room isn't separated in half with a dance floor-feels more intimate to have guests all together. Instead the dance floor is in a separate room. I liked that because I went to a wedding where older people were complaining the music was too loud, this way they can be in a different room if the music gets to be too much for them. It also has a gorgeous view-nice picture opportunities.

I looked at this place and was completely not impressed. The prices were outrageous and there cocktail hour is just finger foods, no stations. Your wedding cake is not included and no bottled beer. I just remember a lot of things I did not like. The manager was also very stand-offish.

ETA: Three Village Inn is beautiful! My FSIL got married there. Her wedding was amazing. The food was great and the atmosphere is homey. I would check this place out.
