I love Lenox Opal Innocence, but its so popular. I want something beautiful but also affordable.
What's everyone registering for? Give me some ideas! I am sooooooooo picky!

I would like a set that can be used for both everyday and entertaining... so nothing too fancy and nothing too plain... So I checked under BBB and saw they have a category called 'casual china' ... Im guessing this is what this is... I have no idea... Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!
Anyways.. I like this set... Lenox Simply Fine™ Voila
YES YOU ARE RIGHT MY EVErYDAY SET IS UNDER THE CASUAL CHINA. - ALTHOUGH MINE IS MORE SIMPLE THEN YOURS. But it is for everday. Kona by Noritake
I LOVE YOURS LENOX they make great patterns.
The thing I'm aftraid of though is having kids around that stuff... I mean its not cheap at $100 per place setting when you're using them everyday... I'll have to give the little ones the cheapies to use instead... The correlle's that i'm using now LOL

Re: Has everyone picked their china?
This is mine .. Lenox Solitare collection. I figured its classic and will go with everything! So for my everyday plates I want to get those pretty squares plates
Waterford Bassano with some pieces from the Waterford Padova pattern as my fine china and Lenox Butlers pantry for everyday. The Lenox is a great value - like 120 for a four person set and 110 for the pasta set that comes with a big pasta bowl and serving pasta bowls.
my picture is not attaching

Hey Gina if you want something that you can use for both, look nice and not alot of $$$$, check this one out in BBB. Im using it for when we have people over, not the holidays.
can i be honest for a second ... This is my OWN PERSONAL OPINION sooo dont stone me after reading it: personally i think all china looks the same! and i dont really like any of it! and i mean for $120 a place setting i dont think its worth it! i think i may get a nicer set for when people come over but i dont know if im going to do china china ... like i like lenox vibe. i think those are nice and nice enough to use when people come over. Thats just me

THATS PERFECT & ITS YOUR DECSION. For me my china is Lenox & i will be using it for entertaining during holiday sor business related dinners etc. I want it because i will use it & I think food always looks better served on an elegant service platter. I chose for my everday when regular company come sover for dinner like my fam & FH's fam its Kona by Noritake. I also have a real everday set already that can be used for kids & us if we dont want to use the Noritake. Its all in what you want & will be most useful fo you. For me & Fh we entertain alot so we like it the elegance & the pretty & the casual!

I'm not a fan of fancy china. I think we will just register for a fancier every day china, that can be used anytime

Re: Has everyone picked their china?
here they are...i dont know if you can even see the pattern well in the pic...
I think I am the only one on here with old school taste
I must preface with the fact that I am completely and absolutely obsessed with all things related to fine china..
i already have accumulated a lot of it but.....
my pattern which was a pain in the neck to find and register for is an antique reproduction of old french limoge patterns....the set is 4 different patterns that match perfectly...
this pic is an example of the style....each plate plate plays on the mixture of pinks, blues, greens and yellows...
i love this pattern..it is even prettier in person...good choice
