Nope. I have always felt that gays have the right to be married. Who am I to judge?

Re: Has planning your wedding changed your perspective on the issue of gay marriage?
nope, i always felt that anybody should be allowed to get married. Honestly, who are we to talk about what marriage is about when straight couples have over 50% divorce rate lolI am curious though, how would wedding planning changes your views on this issue?

i was for it before and i am for it still. i dont undertand why others are against it. how is a gay couple being married affecting anyone else's life? it makes no sense to me.

I was in favor of gay marriage before... but I was thinking maybe as you're going through it and thinking about your own wedding, you might feel differently about denying other committed couples the right to do the same thing. Guess not though!

I'd have to agree with this 100%. Who cares what other people do, everyone deserves to be happy with whomever they love.

Yes.... or maybe someone might go through pre-cana and think more about the religious aspect and be influenced by the church? I dont know, I wanted to make the poll balanced just in case

oh ok i got ya now. I guess it can happen though, i am sure there might be a few ppl who feel differently now.
Well one thing i have to say is that at my pre-cana religion wasnt talked about as much. Well i also did inter-faith pre-cana so maybe why haha. But i thought since it was inter-faith they would push religion even more. I was pleasantly surprised when they did mention religion just a little bit and said, as long as you two are happy and as long as you make the decisions you both agree on and are happy with. They said the only people who can decide what the kid gets baptised is the parents themselves and not to involve family. As long as we believe in something then that is all that matters. So maybe i got lucky with the pre-cana i attended but religion wasnt pushed on us, and there was no judging and mostly the topics were just about relationships

I was always for it and a I am still for it. If 2 people are in love and want to get married, they should, regardless of their gender/sexual orientation

No it has not - I have always believed that everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, should have the right to get married and that it be legally recognized.
