I check my email today, and I had mail from Delta. It was my flight reservations. At first it looks exactly the same and then I notice they changed the times of the flight. The flight to Honolulu has changed from 9:30am getting into Honolulu at 8:45 to 7am getting into Honolulu at 2pm. I am happy that we get to Hawaii earlier but, wow 7am!!! That means we have to be up by 3:30am. Even the flight back is a little different. It is the exact same flights, but different times. I booked the flights about a year ago!

Yes, this is common... unfortunately... At least it's the same day. They changed me to something crazy over Thankgiving last year and I had to end up fighting for a refund.

That happened to us last year - I said and did things I am not proud of to get the right person on the phone but I was able to get our flight changed to a better one (no lay overs) and get a credit for a future flight. FH used the credit to visit his friend from college and we've never flown delta since.
