HAte to bother you girls about WORK

I know I am probably driving you girls nuts with my posts about work, but I ahve to stay there until 1 of 2 thins happen: !) I maxx out my dental insurance (have lots of work I am getting done) or 2) I am done with my dental work!! I think ti should be about 2 months more...I hope I can hold on for that long...

The straw that broke the camels back today was...the girl who has worked there for TWO MONTHS ONLY has gotten a promotion to the Accounting Office...Stepping over 5 girls heads...Myself and another have been theer for 3 and a half years, one has been ther 2 years, and one 1 year, and the other one...was in that position but they DEMOTED her....

ANyways, not that I am better than anyone, but I have a degree in FINANCE, and took several accounting and finance classes and know whats going on...(I am an Insurance Underwriter Assistant) ANyways, I am totally heated, and refuse to talk to HER, the ones who put her in there (whose A S S es she KISSED) and jsut sit there doing my work, miserable...I cannot wait to get the hell outta there....so much drama has happened with this stinkin Job, but this one just topped the cake...I could SCREAM.....

Funny..my husband is self emplyed and it drives me nuts how everyday I wake up and he's all snuggly and warm in bed. Wouldn't it be nice if WE could be happy, carefree and jobless??

My advice, don't take any of your frustration out on her. It won't do any good, and will just make you look unprofessional. She didn't do anything wrong. Would you refuse a promotion offered to you that you wanted? You are correct though to be disappointed with management for not recognizing your talents. Have you asked for an explanation of their decision and what you can do to improve so that you will be considered next time around?
