I went for my hair trial yesterday and after 4 hours i absolutely hate it!!!!
I am thinking of calling the salon and going for another trial or something..but nervous this girl just doesnt understand the pictures i show her or something
We use this salon for everything and we left a $200 deposit for them to open the shop up for me the day of our wedding... and found out its non refundable
UGGG just needed to vent outloud.

Oh wow 4 hours is a long time. I would hate to lose 200 dollars, but you need to get your hair done the way you want it to.

Did you hate it as she was doing it? Or did it start to come apart and loose after a few hours?
When I did my trial I brought the pictures I wanted and she replicated exactly and I hated it! I realized that style just wasn't going to work on me. So we kept playing around until we found a modification of the style that worked for me. Just because something looks beautiful in a picture, doesn't mean its exactly right for you.
Call back and tell her exactly what happened, what you liked, what you didn't and schedule another trial and stay at that trial until you find something you're happy with. Since you already put down a deposit, I do'nt recommend looking for someone else unless you are not happy with your second trial.

I brought in pics, but told her to do what she felt what was best for my hair as well.
I felt my hair was flat and the curls were stringy

can you see if someone else at the salon is available and could give you a trial? deposit is nonrefundable at the salon but doesn't mean you can't use a different stylist right?

Thanks- Yes i am going to call the salon in the morning and see if there is someone else i can have a trial with. 4 hours is a long time and still not to get it to look anywhere nice looking.
and yes, the refund is non refundable

wait it took 4 hours to DO your hair???? and you put a deposit down after or before that? I thought you meant it didn't look good anymore after 4 hours. oh boy.

Holy crap! 4 hours??? You need to be happy, so i would do a trial w someone else. Thats crazy that she couldnt make you happy after that much time.

i bought 2 bridal magazines for pictures, calling the salon tmrw and explain to them the situation.
If i am still not happy time to lose the deposit and move on..
after 4 hours my hair was disgusting and dirty from all the hairspray and curling iron.

Good luck. hopefully someone else in the salon can help you. maybe part of the problem was that after four hours of trying your hair just couldn't do it anymore... I know if I continuously style my hair it gets funkier and funkier.
