Haunted House disappointment . . .

A group of 12 of us went to the haunted house in Wading River last night. We waited on line for 2 hours (got there at 10:00.) It was definitely fun and entertaining, but definitely NOT worth the 16 bucks per couple. Just thought I would let anyone who was thinking of gooing that there may be better options elsewhere . . .

I went through the same thinglast year, it's fun, but not worth the wait IMO

NO! Don't tell me this! We just made plans with a whole group of people to go on Friday night! But it's no biggie because I live ten minutes from where it is, so it'll be ok with me if it sucks! HA.

You should try SPOOKY WALK in center moriches!! all money goes to their charity and you walk through woods, cabins and around the water. Every year it is different. And it takes a while to walk through. Not a quick thing at all.

That sounds fun! Where exactly is it? We were going to the Wading River one but now I'm re-thinking that!

If you have kids, it is great because they give them stop sticks so the ghouls & goblins don't scare them. Wish they would give me one. lol.

I agree- Bayville is the best! I've been to Wading River and also Sayville and nothing compares to Bayville!!

That spooky walk sounds like fun! They had one like that a few years ago off Granny Rd (Medford/Coram area). We went to Lindenhurst F/D Haunted House on Saturday. It sort of sucked too. But it wasn't that much $$$ - maybe $6.00. My husband was scaring the actors there - we used to work at a haunted house together (Dee's Nursery). Then we went down to N. Babylon F/D - $15.00!!! Are they smoking crack??
