OK I truly hate the term bridezilla. Unfortunately, I think I may be having one of those moments.... I feel REALLY bad but I think I may be driving one of my vendors nuts. (Invitations) For some ODD reason, I'm more obsessed with my invites than I have been with my wedding dress, flowers or band. It's kind of weird.... I've made her change things over and over and I've questioned decisions that I've made. I am also paying alot (i added on extras than her normal invites)
Can anyone else please share so I don't feel quite as bad??

Oh, I've had my moments.
When we were booking the RH, we had to decided whether we needed the large room or smaller one. It took my parents about two weeks to give me an estimate of ppl.
Well, I call the RH and the date I had wanted (9/27) was booked for the large room, and the had no dates left in September. I called FH hysterically crying and screamed at my parents and made a big deal...there was one date available in August and one in October..I checked the farmers almanac and kept questioning which I should pick... and was soo mean to my poor parents..
We ended up with 8/23 and I'm fine with it now. I've apologized a million times...I was just stressed that EVERYTHING would be ruined if I didn't get the date I wanted. I'm not sure whyyyy I thought that!

Do not feel bad... You want your wedding to come out perfect that includes invites. Being a bridezilla is when someone is mean to the vendors and too everyone around. But you are being nice about it and you want what you want. Some people have told me that I was a bridezilla, and I am like no I am not I am the must calm bride out there. So, again don't worry about. You're paying money for a service and you want to get what you paid for.

I know. I even offered to pay her extra because I feel so bad..... But the original invites, the fonts were off and they didn't match. I work at a magazine and when I showed them to the designer here she said 'please have her change it, it doesn't match.' Sigh, I think the invite lady hates me.

Maybe you get her a little gift afterwards..to really thank her. A gift basket or one of those edible creations with the fruit. Just to allviate your guilt? It's a thought!

Oh you are too funny!
I am definitely obsessed with a few things. I have emailed my videographer, photographer, florist and RH at least 20 each! They must hate me!
I also think invitations are important...they are one of the first things people see!!!!

Re: Have any of you had a 'bridezilla' moment?
i think we have moments and it because we all want everything to be perfect and sometimes perfect is a work in progress, the vendors are dealing with brides all the time so i think they understand this and are used to dealing with us and our stresses and keep that in mind as they work with us....
their name is on the line too because we all chat here on LIW and they will want to do right by you....
so i dont think its bridezilla for any of us, we are just stressed to make our day the day we always wanted it to be an they (friends, family, vendors, etc...) happen to be a part of it!!!

Re: Have any of you had a 'bridezilla' moment?
i took 6 months to do my invites.. i drove my vendor (international) nuts!!! he switched designers for me 3 times because it wasn't what i wanted.. then i designed it myself and send him the stuff.. now and i've recieved soo many compliments on it.. i think it was all worth it.. and also it was featured on his website..
so no worries.. and i drive my parents up the wall too..
