and my FH didn't like any of them. I mentioned that I like the name Carolyn for a girl, and he did like that.

But nothing is official yet

I can't even begin think about it. My FMIL has been teasing (annoying) me about having her grandkids for the past 3 yrs. We weren't even engaged yet! My FH is an only (spoiled) child. All I can say is that I have to have more than one.

IrishTracy, my whole family is J.M.A.

I don't believe my mom did it on purpose. As far as I know, it kinda' just happened. My mom liked the names Jennifer & Jeanne and we both have the same middle name, Marie. And she wasn't about to change her or my father's name!

We (okay mostly me) talk about it from time to time. I like (and thought he did too but recently found out he's so-so on this name) for a girl Avalena. We really likes Ava and i love the name Lena for some reason. Also it goes really nice with his italian name. Also like Natasha, Samatha, i know there is more just can't think right now. For boys, really want to name him after my brother Michael James ( and have him be the godfather). I also like Nathaniel ( after the 6 feet under guy)

I think everyone thinks about baby names well before they are pregnant! I go back and forth with a lot of names, right now I like Lauren a lot for a girl and Christopher for a boy, but when the time comes, who knows.

Irish Tracy - My dad and stepmom named my 3yr old little brother Finn - I had never heard it before but I love it. Their other son's name is Declan. So cute!

- These are harder for us - DH loves Sebastian and Jake/Jacob (just taken by someone in my family); I like Payton; Patrick (after my father but I don't like Pat); Nathaniel

A good friend of mine just had a baby....so I brought it up in the car and asked my DH what names he liked and if we had a baby what would we name them.
We ended up having a little bit of an argument over it. Not over the names, but he wouldn't even discuss it! I just thought it'd be fun.... we never really talked about what names we liked etc.

I thought that was mean.

I never knew the names we liked for

were so popular! We like Xavier and Christian but have yet to come to an agreement on a girl. I like Olivia, but FH thinks that name is terrible

Same thing goes for Adele.

I'm still discussing with my FI how many kids we want. He wants only 1, but I would like 2. When we discuss names, I know my FI will only talk about boy's names because he said we are only having boys! I was like, 'That's your department!'
