I am having a major wedding theme problem. I have like 3 or 4 themes to choose from and I cant pick one or think of ideas for any of them. I started with a tiffany blue and pink with chocolate brown and white for accent colors. then my fiance really like lreland so I went with an irish theme, but I dont know what colors to have. Now I am at a black, pink and white theme. I also had the idea of and angels theme cuz my fiance calls me his angel, but im so lost. please help!! All I know for sure is that I want my bouque to be pink roses with four white roses mixed in, but I want this wedding to be something we both can enjoy. I am planning it on my own and i'm completely stressed out.

Re: have no idea what theme to choose
what about a black/white/pink/green (for irish) theme. You can do the classic black and white and have pink and green as accent colors. Also you can incorporate waterford crystal for your irish theme as well.

Re: have no idea what theme to choose
We started out with a similar situation of having to choose a 'theme' and basically just let it go so we don't have a 'theme' per say..
We started looking at different wedding things and eventually I just found the color BM dresses I loved and would match the sunflowers and gerba daisies that I adore... that was my starting point.. I now had colors I had to not clash anything else with. I love butterflies so we have one on our invite which we found invites to match the color BM dresses. He loves Japanese so we're going to have that incorporated into the cocktail hour as well as the GM gifts. Another theme was a rennaisance/midevil/mytical theme that will hopefully be shown in our cake... We both love candy and act like 5 year olds.. so you guessed it.. candy bar...
Maybe you can do something similar... find something else you like that is a 'must have' for the wedding.. such as the BM dress or a certain flower type, and see which color theme it fits into. As for the irish, incorporate the celtic cross or that symbol that is on those rings.(sorry.. no offense.. i just can't think of the name right now)....maybe into a monogram, or on the invites, programs, and other stationary. Maybe your rings even? you can also add angels say as the cake toppers and an ice sculpture or such...
There are tons of elements in your wedding and they don't all have to match perfectly.. you can even incorporate some into the favors, seating cards, centerpieces etc. In my opion...too much of one theme is sometimes overkill.

Re: have no idea what theme to choose
I am not doing theme, per se...I'm going with what I like and how it fits our personality.
I'm mainly doing a color scheme (pinks, berries and creams with accents of pea, lime and dark greens) for my BM dresses and flowers. Our CPs are going to be shabby chic style, think ornate whitwashed wrought iron and candles and roses. My invites are super whimisical and will be in a light pink and sage green color combo. We are doing a donation favor and also giving something small, either mini-margarita glasses w/mix or something edible. I am adding touches of things that represent us, like bumblebees and lemons which will likely be used in a placecard idea.
