have no idea what to expect

don't be surprised - but tomorrow at 7:30 i'm going for my first fitting for my bm dress for my sisters wedding - i have no idea what to expect. please help. i'm going to lillettes in baldwin, if that helps

well, I can tell you about my experience going for a BM fitting. First of all make sure you have your shoes or shoes the same height you will be wearing.
They cut the hem off the bottom and made me all nervous.. Then they went down the sides putting in pins as they pulled it in. And that was pretty much it. They did a pretty awful job when I went back, so I didn't have the best experience.

Also, make sure you have the right bra on...strapless, backless, etc. Even the cup fit will determine how well the fitting goes, so wear the bra to the fitting that you are wearing to the wedding. Grab a swatch from the dress to get your shoes dyed as well.

i think they are great there.. - just always make sure you feel ok with the length and fit - dont want it too short or too tight..

bring shoes and bra..

thanks ladies!! i have my shoes and i will most likely have them put cups in the dress so i don't have to worry about the bra thinng. and we are not wearing dyeable shoes, so that is not an issue either

At Lillette's, its very simple. You try on the dress. A seamstress will be with you, and you tell her how it feel, what areas you think need to be adjusted, and then she gives her advice. They are very nice and work with you.

No, it was commack wedding center. I have never been to Lillettes

i've heard nothing but good things about lillettes, my sisters getting her wedding dress there and so far so good
