I had them waxed once before (recently) and i was fine with it. But i hear threading is better. Now my wedding is Sunday and i need something done this week, but im afraid to try threading since ive never done it and don't want any mistakes.
SHould i just stick with what i know or go for the threading? I just can't risk them getting messed up. Is threading pretty mistake proof?

I dont know about mistake proof... is there such a thing? But I have heard from ALOT of people that it hurts alot more!

I dont know what threading is, but my gut instinct is to go with what you are familiar with. If you've experienced waxing before and were happy with it and did not have a bad reaction, then I would stay with waxing...

i would go what you are familiar with and more importanatly, WHOM you are familiar with. i thread and wax. i go to a place that 'sugar' waxes the eyebrows. and threads the tops of them and my lip.

I have had them both done - either one is prone to mistakes.
The best thing to do is - have an eyebrow specialist do it - they will tweeze them for you. The Avon Spa in NYC does it (although so hard to get an appt) or go to the Este Lauder Spa at Americana.
If you are getting married on Sunday, I would do it tomorrow!

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for a long time and thing that I like about it is that my eyebrows are never red or puffy...I walk out without any irritation... it doesn't hurt as much - not as much anticipation for the yanking!

I used to wax for years and by the time the redness settled, it was time to go again.
I went to get them threaded by Penn Station one day and I am not gonna lie...the first time hurts but after that....it hurts so much less than waxing. The less hair you have the better.

I have done threading. Its more precise than waxing, but definitely hurts more!! It is especially good if you have thick eyebrows, there is more they can do. But I would recommend it.
As for waxing, here are the top people in NYC according to New York Magazine :
I just recently had my brows done at The Red Door Salon. They did a great job. I had mine tweezed though because I have extremely sensetive eyes.

I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time 2 days before my wedding--It hurt--but it's wonderful--especially if you have sensitive skin!!

I get my eyebrows threaded all the time! I used to get waxed, but I would always break out. I don't break out at all from the threading! I highly reccommend it.

Since your wedding is so close, I will stick with waxing and the usual person you had them done. I used to wax my eyebrows but not anymore. For me threading, is less painful and I find it more precise and my eyebrows look much better. One thing to consider, you should always either wax or thread your eyebrows when you are not close to your menstrual period or do not have it. It will hurt you less.

threading is much better but i wouldnt try it so close to your wedding. stick with what you know and try threading afterwards.

I have been getting waxed for years..I have no problems with it..sometimes red for a few minutes, but I also get my lip waxed and I think that is more painful than eyebrows..
I'm going to say, along with a few, stick with what you've already done,
