for those of you who did tip your photographer
did you tip your video guy too??? all this tipping is making me paranoid, and I dont feel like taking a cash advance to tip, isnt that crazy??I mean I am tapped out from this wedding

did any of you not tip either of them?

We tipped both the photographer and the videographer. They did a great job, and were very nice and helpful on our wedding day, so we had no reservations about tipping them.

I plan to tip both photo and video when they have been developed... I know of a bride, whose photographer took extra pictures (even though during the wedding she pointed out that she didn't request them) and then this photographer wouldn't release any of her pix until she paid for all of them, including the ones she didn't want... I'll probably will have someone talk to them or during contract signing mention that tip will be given when photos/video are ready.

I am not going to tip my videographer, photographer nor my DJ because all of them are the owners of their own company. For them I am going to give them either a very expensive bottle of wine of champagne when the reception is over. I will tip the DJ's assistant and the videographer's assistant though. What do you think is an appropriate tip for their assistants.

We did not tip the videographer or the photographer they are both owners. We tipped assistant(s) We tipped Dj's/ party motivators.

we tipped both photo/video...nothing extravagant...but, an amount that we thought was fair.
