We are thinking winter wonderland, with Blues, creams and silvers. Debating how far to go with it, but at least some touches of snowflakes =)

Re: have y'all decided on a theme yet?
that's totally what i'm going for, with snowflakes all over the place, and hoping that the reception hall that i choose will also still be decorated for christmas, being that my date is close to it.

Most of the halls I checked into said they kept the Christmas decorations up till the 2nd week of January, so that shouldn't be a problem

I really think I am going to be different-- because I really just want it to be black and white and maybe some cream colors in the BM gowns-- but I havnt even found any BM dresses i like-- so we'll see but basically black & white & possibly some red roses in the bm flowers--but mostly white--
any thoughts on this?

We're doing a black and white theme as well. I'm planning on getting a white dress with black accents; I've been looking into Alfred Angelo and Maggie Sottero. The BM dresses are going to be all black; with the exception of my MOH; she's going to have a white sash.

I was thinking tropical colors. Bright blue/aqua BM dresses and bright yellow/orange pink flowers (sunflowers..gerbera daisies).

im going for the winter theme also...the snowflakes, the warm cozy feeling.
It might change though to a pink theme...(there was just a medical diagnosis in my family and i want to honor it...)

Winter theme here as well. I am with you eternitybride on your color scheme. I want my girls to wear a royal blue with a silver/blue sash. I am looking into bridal cloaks and stoles (faux fur of course :)
We are going with snowflakes, birchtrees, white lights and candles.
Just doing my research and checking out ideas. I love the idea of being engaged for two years. You really get to enjoy the moment and take your time to do everything right (at least I hope

I am doing a winter wonderland also. THe only thing is we are going to do burgundy, with maybe some accents of black. I also love the fact that we are going to be engaged for 2 years. Although I hate that we have so long, I am going to be able to do things the way that I want, and not have to be rushed into anything

we're doing a Old Hollywood punk rock wedding...the main colors will probably wind up being hot pink black and white...but we're still working out that stuff
