Hey Everyone! I am still on a hunt for a florist has anyone has an experience with Wicks Florist, Bella Flowers or Burtons? Any experiences would be appreciated!

My cousin was just talking about Wicks this past weekend. She ended up going with a different florist (closer to her venue), but mentioned even with the discount they were giving her because her family has done business with them for quite sometime that there were better options. I'm looking into Crest Florist now, I met them yesterday at the bridal show at Douglaston Manor.

I met with Bella Flowers. They were my second choice. They were very nice and super helpful, we just clicked a little more with Black Dahlia so we went with them. Black Dahlia also quoted us a tiny bit lower.

Bella FLowers was awesome but we booked with Hidden Essence because I loved her even more! Prices were so comparable - Burtons was my MOST EXPENSIVE quote and they were so impersonal, didn't seem to care and had no input or creative ideas.

We booked hidden essence too. Looooved her. Let me know if you want my quotes from them :)

We booked Wicks. They were super great and had great prices. I'll let ya know how they look in 98 days!

We booked burton's, but also met with bella flowers. john was so nice at burton's and really knew his stuff. We were in bella for close to 2 hours. They were nice, however burton's quotes us about $1,000 less.

We booked with Pedestals, but out of the ones you mentioned we only met with Burton's. We did not care for them at all.

I booked with Bella. Love them! Going to see my centerpieces in a couple of weeks. I also got a courtesy call from the owner, Cristina, right after the new year to see if I had any questions or needed to make any changes.

I also met with Hidden Essence. Quotes were very similar. She was my 2nd choice. Met with Flowers by Brian. Showroom was very impressive but that's it. Their sales person didn't even show me any pictures of floral arrangements they did. Everything was a google pic, which I can do myself at home.

At Bella and Hidden Essence, I met with the actual people making my arrangements.

But go with who you feel comfortable with...and who has the best price! :)

went to posh, wicks, hidden essence, designs by joy.. hired hidden essences - wicks & hidden were almost the same price
