I am using JoVon. I hear they are very good. The work they showed me was very good. I hope I am happy with them in the end. Another photographer I looked at that I absolutely loved was Photo Verdi. They are a vendor on this site. They were really expensive because everything was ala carte. We need the parent albums and all of those extras so it would have run us a little over $6000. Jovon normally runs that much too, some times more but they cut us a better deal.

I've seen Marquee's work, some of it I liked and some of it I wasn't too impressed with, and I believe they are on the expensive side.
Creative Compositions, another company that is expensive but I love their work.
Jovan - I've heard of quite a few having some service issues with them.
Imagine - LOVE Lia and Nelson, again, on the expensive side, but there was not one picture I did not like.
Perceptions - did not see them but have not heard enough about them either, maybe others can post about them.

ETA: other recs would be Verdi, Duet, Natasha Staszak, Spelman, Artisan, Silverfox, 12th Night, Velvet Studios and Patken.

We're using Anthony from Perceptions. So far dealing with Perceptions has been fabulous! We saw Anthony's pictures from a friends wedding and they were GORGEOUS!

We used Creative Compositions and loved working with them. We still don't have our proofs so I haven't seen the final product but I was very happy with my e-pics.
Looked at Imagine and loved their work as well, but you have to do the video through them as well.
Similar to those you mentioned is Lina Jang. We met with her and really liked her work, but at the time she didn't offer the album we wanted.

thanks everyone... yeah I have no idea what these places charge so I guess I am in for a big surprise when I make my appts haha... No wonder I could not find JoVon's website... The Carltun recommended them and spelled it wrong on the sheet so I've been trying to find them online and could not... Now I know why. I'm going to start making some appt's for next week... I'll let you know how it goes.

We are using Jovon, Telmo is our photographer. Ironically, we just picked up our engagement pictures tonight and they came out really nice. We're really happy we decided to go with Jovon.

OMG, can't say enough about Creative Compositions!! I used them for my wedding, Ruth and Dennis. They did an amazing job!! Everyone loved them!! I was a little worried about MY HUSBAND on the day of cause he really hates having his pic taken, but Ruth and Dennis just made it so easy to be in front of the camera, even my he didn't mind!!
