Maybe that is just how she is, extremely honest, possibly to a fault. She should not have mentioned the money part but who knows, maybe someone incorrectly told her that and she went with it. If she knew that the bride and relatives would see it, I dont think she meant to hurt anyone.

I would not even say it was that she assumed how much was paid. I think the whole...'you get what you pay for...lol' That was snide & way out of line.

My brother is getting married at Crest Hollow-next year and I would NEVER tell him the comments that were made-I would not want to upset him or my FSIL.-I'm sure their wedding will be beautiful because of all the wonderful people who will be there.

The bride is a an LIW member. Her family did not tell her about it, she saw it for herself.

No one is saying that her whole post was rude, they said that her comment about the $55 pp is wrong. You dont go around making these things up, then say someones wedding is cheap. Thats such a terrible thing to say!

Sorry, I typed that wrong. I was just saying that I think this is so strange that someone would write such things knowing that the people who's wedding it was would see it. Then I was just thinking of people that I know, that let's just say are a little out of it, that just come out and say things without realizing it could hurt someone. I feel bad that the bride and family is so upset, it sounds like they had the most pefect day and should try to ignore this one girl.

I have been on this website a long time and do my best to help those who need it. I am not going to let someone made snide, unnecessary comments about my sister's wedding KNOWING THAT MY SISTER WILL READ IT BECAUSE SHE IS A LIW BRIDE!!!

WOW-people are nuts when it comes to weddings. As long as your sister was happy on her wedding day-that's all that matters. Don't let others make you feel bad-did you have a good time? Did you enjoy the food? Were you happy with the service? If yes-then there is no problem-this is one persons comment and opinion. My bother is paying $55 pp next year so I can't comment on prices. All I know is that we would have gone to CH if my brother and FSIL weren't booked there already.

Why? what difference does it make to FM her. I've read previous posts on this thread by this poster, and it seems she likes to guess what the bride and groom paid for their wedding. This isn't the first post she's assumed that with.

She knew exactly what she was doing.

I also sent her FM. My sister is a fantastic person and does not deserve to have rude comments made. It doesn't matter how many nice things are said. The rude comments negate it all.

ok lets move on girls....

Larkfield Manor- One of the best places I have ever been too... waitstaff was amazing, as a BP gal none of us got a chance to place our dinner orders so they brough over silver platters with all 7 entrees for each of us to choose what we wanted....sooo perfect...

Bourne Mansion- goregours gorgesou gorgeous!!! the only problem we had was they placed our table in the corner-- but then again we were the load roudy bunch from high school --and the way the band was set up with acoustics were not very good.. but it was amazing.. food was fabulous

Deseversky center-- Loved the cocktail party style.. but they stopped serving food after the first two hours.. so for the rest of the time all there was was an open bar ( not that that is a problem!!!) but by the time i got hom i was starving and dh was hammered!! but the food i did have was like melting in my mouth it was so good.

Westbury Manor-- very nice, bartenders were great but dh and the boys tried to teach the parrots how to say ' your an a44hole' hahah

the most important thing about weddings is that all your friends and family are there and that you are celebrating the bride and groom... be grateful that you are even invited and sharing in this beautiful day
