Nope...but I am a research ho and didn't sign on any lines without obsessively looking into them.

i put down $450 deposit on my dress, veil and headband at princess bridals ... they're awful and rude and i wish i didn't give them my money.
it really depends what your reasons for cancelling are, how much you'd lose, and how much the item is worth.
it also depends on whether this is a service (like photography) or item (like a dress) ... if you dislike a service, cancel - you don't want to deal with them on your wedding day!

Re: Have you ever
no but I would if I was unhappy with them. I'm on the fence about firing 1 as we speak.

It's a service, but its optional. I thought it would de-stress me, but it's actually been a source of stress. I think I know what I am going to do and I hope its the right decision.

Yes, I lose 80 bucks for a makeup artist. In the end, I'm STILL saving money.

sounds like even if you lose your deposit, it'd be worth getting rid of that service. plus, you don't want to KEEP paying someone who's not doing their job. i would fight for a refund though, if they didn't do what they said they would.
