I have been to Spain once for work. I spent a weekend before the work conference in Barcelona for 2 days. We got a lot of sight-seeing, etc in while we were there, but I think we could have used 3 full days and nights. It is a great city! Fabulous restaurants too. I think definitely at least 3 days in Barcelona. Sorry I can't help with the other places, I have never been to the other cities. Sounds like a fun trip though!!!

i was in barcelona for 2 days and it definitely wasnt enought. i think you should spend more time in madrid and barcelona- seville is much smaller and has less to see in comparison.

OMG LOVE IT!! It's so amazing there... I studied abroad there in college. Madrid is so amazing and beautiful... you can take a bus to seville from madrid.. it's not far.... you only need ONE day or so in seville.. about 3-4 in madrid and the same in barcelona..

it really depends what kind of a person you are. madrid is full of history, it's romantic and more low key than barcelona.. which is as you know, on the beach, and more 'partyish' but stilll beautiful and amazing.

i have been all over europe and spain is probably my favorite country!!!

FM me or reply if u have ne other questions!

I loved Toledo, Seville, Segovia, and Alicante. Madrid was ok. I wished we went to Barcelona because I've heard great things about it. Spain is GORGEOUS!!

We didn't go to Barcelona. We spent 3 days in Madrid (with a day trip to Toledo and Segovia), then took the high speed train to Seville where we spent another 3 days (with a day trip to Granada). Then we rented a car and drove to the Costa del Sol (Marbella to be exact) stopping at Gibraltar on the way. From Marbella we drove to the Alhambra and spent the day there. Then we spent 2 days lying on the beach and by the pool on the costa del sol!

While I really do love most of Europe, Spain is truly my favorite country!

I agree that you only need one day is Seville. But I would def try to get to granada and a beach side city on the mediterranean. I loved Barcelona so I say 3-4 days. And I liked Madrid but I was done after 2 days.

Also you may not have to fly to places they have express trains that are on the expensive side but you get to see so much of Spain on your way that its kind of nice. I traveled Spain only by train. HTH
