Have you ever gone to a wedding and...

the cake is not white/ivory? I am thinking of doing it a color. (pink of course.)

I have never been to a wedding where the cake was not white/ ivory BUT I think it is a really cool idea and you should go for it! Are your flowers pink? what color are the BM dresses?

Sine we got married in Italy, we decided on a 'traditional' Italian wedding cake....
It was not white or Ivory....

We are doing a 'blush' color which is a light pinkish beige color. I will being using shades of pink flowers. With my Barbie and Ken cake topper.

I went to a wedding where the cake was blue. I like it when it is different.....Also a chocolate cake, but it was hard chocolate, looked cool.

My gf had light blue fondant. I might go with lavendar fondant to match our flowers (lavendar and pale yellow roses)

We haven't decided what color the cake will be, but I think going a different color is a great idea!

We had 2 wedding cakes. Our wedding cake was white and ivory to match our Champagne theme/color scheme with my BMs gowns. Our entire cake filling was chocolate mouuse.

Our other wedding cake was a gift from DH's aunt to incorporate our cultural background into our special day. It was a dark yellow Lithuanian wedding cake. Both were delicious and beautiful.
