Its whe the sperm impregnants the egg but it never implants so your body miscarries that egg.

Aw...I had a feeling this is what happened to you -

The good news is this. It means you can make a baby! And that's half the battle.

This happened to my very dear friend. Twice. She tested faint positives for about two or three days, but by the time she went to the doctor was negative, and the blood test showed negative. They call it a chemical pregnancy, or a phantom pregnancy. They say it's EXTREMELY common and most women never know about it because by the time they test it's already showing negative. You probably tested early on a few times and your body had started to produce a little of the hormone.

Please don't be discouraged though! This happened to her two months in a row - third month was a charm and now she's due two weeks after me!!!! All my hugs to you.....
