I may not have one. I could care less. I've been to so many bachelorette parties. Between my friends schedules w/their kids and stuff, it would end up being very small, so why bother. I also don't want to put people through the added expense. If anything is done, we may just do a dinner and drinks, but I don't want them paying for me.

I don't want one either. I would like maybe my friends and I to go out to a nice dinner and maybe a drink or two afterwards. But i'm not into the 4am thing. Not to sound old but when I drink it takes me the entire next day and night before i'm good again

I'm not having one.
For several reasons.....first of all its just not my thing.....I'm also a bit older, and at this point I have been to SO MANY that its just kind of lame now.
Also, all (literally all 5) of my closest friends are pregnant right now so a bachelorette party is just not appropriate.
Although, I didn't have a shower either. I told everyone that I didn't want one, and to please not throw me one. However, now I regret that. I wish I had a shower.

My BP is just my 2 younger sisters (ages 10 and 16). I asked them if we could to a sleepover instead. You should do whatever you want and makes you happiest.

I love that! I would love to have a girlie sleepover with my bridal party.

u know i was just talking to my MOH and FH about this. my MOH is getting married 3 weeks after me and she was saying that she doesn't want one and i kinda feel the same way, i actually have 2 moh and the other one is all about a party...lol so im glad that lauren will keep kys incheck...lol but i was thinking doing something low key anyway because thats just my personality, u know maybe go to mohegan sun or something or go on a wine tasting weekend and just hang out thats just how i am....fh just found out his brothers (co-best men) want to go to vegas and itll be huge because a friend of theirs is also getting married like a week before us and he's all i dont want to go away and have a huge thing...lol i dont think he has much of a choice tho. i say its up to u who cares what everyone else thinks do what you'll have the most fun doing even if its just happy hour with your bridal party

I'm sure you can do something fun with the girls and NOT consider it a 'bachelorette party' That is what I plan on doing, something LOW KEY and not too crazy....I won't be running around a club with a veil on my head and blinky buttons all over my outfit...LOL but some people like that sort of thing.

My cousin and her DH both didn't want one.
So instead we had a get together of all their close friends and we played some games and drank all night at my house. It was a blast!

agreed

that sounds cool! myself, i totally want a bach. party...but there's nothing wrong with just saying 'i don't want one, thank you very much anyway'

I personally didnt want one at all, but since my girls convinced me that I have to, we decided to keep it really low key and just go to dinner and have a 'slumber party' with wine and games and manicures.

If it werent for my BMs I wouldnt be having one at all. I just dont see a point in it all. Its not like once your married you're never going to hang out with your girlfriends any more....

We had a pajama party for a friend of mine. She's not the party girl type and it was important to her that her younger sister be there. We had a ton of fun.

My girlfriend did not have one. I think she secretly wanted one but I think FH at the time had something to do with it. He did not have one either.

i dont personally want one bc most of my BMs dont like each other so why should i feel awkward with them during my bachelorette party ..........it really doesnt matter to me though

I SOOOOO don't want one.... I haven't been part of the nightlife in YEARS. I can't stand bars, clubs....

I don't even want to go out to dinner... what's the point? We could go out to dinner w/o the bachelorette context.... My bridal party knows this... I doubt they'll try to kidnap me. Actually, FH is the same. His best man wants to take him to a @#$# bar, but he doesn't want to go either...

I know, we're couch potatoes.... so glad to find another spud to hang out with!
