My dad orders flowers and candy for my mom from a major flower company last week. She gets the candy delivered yesterday (you know, the little free box that comes with the flowers sometimes), but no card or flowers. My dad is like what the heck and calls the company, who says that today (Wednesday) is V-Day, TOO, in their eyes!! So the order's not late, and they split it. And she'l get the flowers today. He tells them to keep the flowers and refund his money and they get all pissy with him. Can you believe that? After much arguing he got the $ back, but a florist saying VDay is today, too, when he paid for Vday delivery?? oy

The thing with these big coompanies is that they have local florists fulfill the orders, but if I local florist screws up, which seems to be what happenned most of th time, they take the heat. They're not gonna tell you 'oh such abnd such florist didn't check their order system' they're gonna just try to diplomatically take the heat...

for Valentines Day my Fh got me something called ' 2 days of desire' or something like that... the day before V day I got candy and on Valentines Day I got roses... it wasnt anything like that was it?
