FH and I both asked our friends to be in the bridal party and they happen to be dating.....I was with the girl Friday and she asked me if she would be walking down with her BF...I said yes of course....And she was like 'oh ok b/c someone asked me recently and they told me thats like forbidden' (but her source isn't married)....Am I out of the loop here?? Is this like a bad luck thing? hah
She wants to walk with him and his mother wanted to come to the church to take pics of them walking together also
Anyone heard of this????.....even if its true I guess we're obv. not going to follow this 'rule' lol

we have a couple in our BP too, and it seems weird NOT to put them together...

I've never heard of this, although we have two couples in our BP and we're not having them walk together, but it's for different reasons.
Funny story, my grandparents met because they were part of a BP and were each other's partners. My grandma always says, 'The first time I met him, he walked me down the isle! It was a good omen!'
That is such a cute way of meeting your FH.....sounds like it was a good omen

Re: Have you ever heard of this 'No-No??'
i'm actually pretty surprised at how many ppl have NOT heard of this no-no, even tho i think its absurd. i have heard about it several times in the past, which is weird since i've only ever been in one wedding party but i guess i've heard it in passing convos. anyways, i think its a bunch of malarkey. just like rain on your wedding day is good luck......... just some bs ppl made up to make other ppl feel better about lousy situations (ie; if the couple walking down together break up, they can blame it on that d@mn walk down the aisle. so stupid!) do what you want!!!
