Have you ever seen a DIY Shower Invitation that....

Inlcuded a baby picture of the bride??? How do you feel about this. Honest opionions...my feelings will not be hurt...keep reading.

I am making shower invitations for my sister and thinking about putting a picture of her on it...a really cute professional one of her from when she was about 3 in a pretty yellow dress and holding a rose. (She literally looks like porcelein doll in this pic...so cute.)

Anyway, my idea is a card style invitation and on the front is the picture of her, with a sheerish overlay (so it isnt so obtrusive)....and some words like 'Shes been dreaming of this day forever' and on the inside 'Its time to shower her with love'. Hmm need to work on the wording but I think it will get a lot of awwws out of people.

FYI - MY sister is super crafty and made my shower invites which have been getting alot of 'ooohs and awwwws' and I want the same effect for her!

i think it is such an adorable idea! my cousin has something similiar for her invites it was such a big hit!

I think it is a nice idea. It is not what I would usually expect for a shower invite. But I think it could be really nice

I think it will be awesome! Because its showing how fast she has grown up. And every little girls dream is to get married, and now here she is! I absolutely love love love the idea!! LOL. GO for it!

Its a great idea!!! my mom did similar ones for my shower but with a 'grown up' picture of me - but you mention this and I think it would be a great idea!!
