have you ever strayed.....

NO, not THAT kind!!!

i LOVE liweddings, of course...

but since my m/c, i have been checking out the 'fertilityfriend' and 'babyzone' message boards.....the women on those boards have been through SO, SO much ttc....i mean SOOO much that it is depressing....

i cry every time i read their stories...i was just wondering if anyone else ever goes to those sites and if anyone has a different take on them than me....i mean, some of these women have been ttc'ing for 6 years!!....this kind of info has me freaking out....

p.s. i was told by my doc that too much internet was not good for my ttc - i'm beginning to think he may be right...

any opinions? or am i just a lunatic?

My Husband tells me all the time that it is not good to always look on the internet because this definitely can make you freak out and worry. This causes stress and that is not good. I do think however that this is a great group of people on the LI Wedding Site and it does give a good support group.

MY husband is a first year resident at Stonybrook and he is always laughing at me when I tell him that I read this and that on the internet. He says he hears this a lot from his patients also. But for us folks who are not in the medical field it is sometimes better to understand these things we read on the internet. It is in laymen terms if you know what I mean. I sometimes have no idea what my husband is telling me but we laugh over it a lot.

I was thinking about this same thing this morning - if all the bad stuff I read on LIW and other sites is getting in my way for TTC.

I guess I just have to remind myself to hop over to the parenting board every now and then and read all the good stories about the happy healthy babies.

I think it's human nature to remember the bad ones more.

I'm on babyzone and fertility friend a lot, but not their message boards, just the articles and charts.

Ever since I bought and read Taking Charge of your Fertility, I'm a big time lurker on Ovusoft.com (TCOYF.com) .. as well as FertilityFriend

I learn so much from these boards that I try not to let the 'sad' stories affect me... it actually helps educate me and I actually feel BETTER about things (and any future issues I might have TTC) because I see that so many other women share in these problems)

For me, its always better to feel 'less alone' in going through something such as TTC, pregancy, etc.

I go to Ovusoft.com and idreamofbaby.com sometimes..I feel so disloyal to LIW -
