Have you ever watched a game from the bleacher seats?

Have you ever watched a game from the bleacher seats?

I think it would be cool but intimidating. Share your experience if you've been there for the roll call and everything else.

yes, it's fun. i had season tix. in the bleachers for the past 3 years, but this year we moved to the tiers...
it's a lot of fun sitting there, there's some annoying people but everyones basically nice & out to have fun...no alcholol sold there but i snuck in alcohol in my slurpee a few times.
we moved our seats to the tiers b/c it was such a hot summer last year & we have sat.day games that we think it would be better if we have actually seats to sit in..
if you do get tix. there just make sure your on time & go to your seat 15 min. before game time b/c everyone just sits everywhere once the game begins & dont like to move even if there in your seats, we've gotten there late but you just sit anywhere then....

It's ok. I've only sat Playoff games out there. It's fun doing the 'role call', but other than that...my @$$ hurt, my back hurt...and NO BEER!
I prefer to relax & enjoy a game.

I'm so glad that you both responded! I was afraid that no one would come on to this board.

I want to get tickets and I've always been curious about the bleacher seats. I was afraid it would be tough crowd of regulars. DH isn't a baseball fan though, so I might have to get regular comfortable seats (where he can drink beer!) to ease him in.

we had the tier reserves now & the seats are great they are a little high up but you have a great view of the filed......
if you do decide to drink some beers have a few before hand in the parking lot this way you end up buying 1 or 2 in the stadium... they were 7.75 a beer this weekend...too much $$

I've had season tickets there for two years and we moved this season to the main reserve.

It's tons of fun and as long as you are a Yankee fan you have nothing to worry about!!!

But your back and butt do hurt by like the third inning!!!

The bleacher seats are awesome, and I’d say the best way to watch the game. You do have to drink before hand if you plan on drinking at all, but there are plenty of bars in the area to pre-game at filled with fellow bleacher creatures. Oh and be prepared to defend yourself if you’re not a Yankee’s fan.

agreed! we actually have bleacher seats for next wednesdays game! so excited! its so much fun when they do the roll call!!!!

I go every Saturday as I have a Saturday ticket plan. We're in Section 41. The BEST fans are in the Bleachers. We get to do roll call after the first pitch, which NEVER gets old. Especially when we call out to Johnny Damon and he acknowledges us- he's so funny! We also get to know other package holders and we have a blast!

The other great thing about Bleachers- never a long line in the bathroom, concession lines never that bad....and, you're let out right by the subway so you never have to be stuck in that awful crowd heading to the subway from the inside of the stadium. That can be torture.

Only bad thing- no beer! That's just an excuse to tailgate then! Does save you money then- when we sit in the tiers, we drink too much beer and spend way too much money!!
