so i am trying to decide when i should go register? maybe girls at work have already asked me to go because what if someone wants to give me a gift now or something, and especially for christmas what if they want to give me something from there already!? that is a good idea, but too late for that now =P lol.. honestly i dont even think i am ready to go and register just yet, but i was wondering when is the time frame for that!? have you 09 girls registered!? especially the ones getting married around the same time as i am?? when are you girls thinking of doing it?? i was thinking maybe around the spring time or right before summer?? cause i think my bridal shower will be in september, so maybe around june go register?? what do you girls think??

I started my registry with a few items online just to have a registry in case anyone asks, but probably in March or so ill go instore and scan the rest of things i want. I registered at Bed Bath and Beyond.

I have not registered and I am getting married in July!!! I figured I would do it in Jan. I didnt have an engagement party so I didnt feel the need to register. I think it is ok if you wait. JMO

We did.. by request of our families who wanted to buy us some things for christmas off the registry.. but you have time.. just know it took us about 2 tries per store to get it kind of right (im sure there will be more changes) the first time we had no idea what we were doing and what we actually needed

FH and I just started our registry this week and I'm getting married in April. We're up in the air as to # of registries...BBB, Macy, Crate & Barrel. Those are our top three but I don't think we will register at them all.

we started them and i have been adding things on slowly ... but i go on them both (BBB and fortunoffs) everyday! haha im nuts! i always want to change things or add things or see if i can get a better deal at one store or the other! its like a game i play haha im sick!

We started our main registry at BBB in November, but we've really only focused on kitchen items. We're going to have to actively work on it early Spring for bed and bath, once we have a clearer idea of if we're going to be living in a house or an apartment. I started Macy's and Pottery Barn online for auxiliary items, but have not scanned in store for those.

you have time to register still - they ambushed me with my shower in november - which was really early - but what i didnt put up on here was that BBB discontinued like 90% of my registry and they failed to call me, and how could my BP or mother come to me and be like oh BTW all your registry is discontinued bc it would have sent up some flags that my shower was approaching.. but i would wait a little bit - you dont want to go through the nightmare i went through..

We had our engagement party in August so we registered beginning of June before the engagement party invitations went out. If your not having an engagement party then it's ok to wait. But if people start asking I would register soon.
