Have you guys talked about burials/cremations with your SO's?
Not to be morbid, but has anyone talked about it? dh is jewish, i'm not, and i think i want to be cremated. just curious what everyon'es situations will be. will you be with you families? sorry if this is depressing, but nobody talks about it and we were wondering what people do.

I know my husband wants to be cremated I DON'T!! We discussed that.
My husband has been doing construction in a funeral home. So he asked about the pricing. It's quite morbid.

we spoke about it... we both want to be creamated.... i hate the idea of being 'buried', its too confining (even if i am 'dead' ),,, also, we get mad at how much land is taken up by cemetaries and golf courses, so i dont want to be buried, and i only go to the driving range (i dont play on a real course)

We have discussed that we both want to be cremated we just need to get it all in writing.

If I die tomorrow (or before I am married) I will be buried in my father's family plot in New Jersey. The thought of spending eternity in Jersey doesn't sit well with me, but it is paid for. As for after I get married, we are talking about it right now. We will more than likely buy plots to include future children. There will be no cremation as we are Jewish.

We know we both want to be buried, but I'm afraid there will be no plots left when we pass! There's hardly any open now I think (on LI).

We havent discussed it, but we will both be buried, since Judaism forbids cremation.

All funeral arrangements were put in writing right after our wedding, it was a given for his job.

We both want to be cremated, I just can't fathom being underground even if I'm dead.

I'm not sure of your religion but St. Charles is HUGE & they have land they haven't even touched yet.
