Re: Have you heard of.....
I cant vote because i have only been to Ricardos - I know the renovated a few years ago - but when i went on two differnet occasions the food wasnt that great - and i dont particularly like the decor. I went for a bridal shower and the other time for a dinner dance. I personally would not choose it for a wedding.

I'm a Meadow Club bride (2 days before you!) I haven't heard of any of the other places you're asking about though. If you need any info on TMC, FM me!!!

Re: Have you heard of.....
I'm sorry I can't vote either, as I haven't heard of these places or know anyone who has been there. They might just be the best place that you might fall in love with. I'm not sure of your budget, # of guests you might have ,or other logistics. Any info you could give would help me help you. We have been to alot of vendors and can make suggestions based on what we think you may or may not like. It all comes down to your own personal comfort level. She loved certain vendors and I just didn't see us getting married there or me feeling any better about them on my wedding day if we choose them.
Best Wishes,
Thomas

Re: Have you heard of.....
We looked at the Meadow Club and it was very pretty but a little too far out in Suffolk for us. I went to a bridal shower at Papa Joe's and personally I don't think it's really a wedding type place, but the food was really good. I believe the owners of Papa Joe's recently opened a new place not too far away that is made for smaller weddings. I can't remember the name of it but it looks beautiful in the photos. I believe it's set on a golf course. You should call and inquire about that place. I think it might be at the Edgewood golf course.

Papa Joe's did open a reception hall type place by heartland/ Deer Park train station. It's called Bella Verde. They have a web site as well. The place looks pretty nice from picture I have seen. Good Luck.
I have seen Papa Razzi a million times as I drive by, is it a reception hall or just a restaurant? The others I dont know of at all.

Papa Razzi is a restaurant - I had my e-party there. As far as I could tell, they don't have any private rooms, so it might not be the best place for a wedding reception.

Papa Razzi is def. just a restaurant. I have been to some lovely showers there but never receptions.
