Have you heard this.....

That you can't baptize your kids if you get married at the Rh and not in the church????? I never heard of this! I wasn't married when I had my son and he was baptized!!! What the F*U***** The church does believe it is in the eyes of GOD! Hello God is everywhere, isn't that what were told???? Well I'm still getting married at the RH and we'll just see about that!

Yeah someone told my mom that and she began freakin out.. Like omg you have to baptize your kids.. what are you gonna do?!?! I was like uhhh not get married in the church for one... ill cross that bridge (with the baptizing) when i get to it

I know...I orginally wanted to get married at the RH but FH made a really big deal about getting married in a church because he wanted our kids to be recognized in the church so they could recieve their sacraments as well.

I think it's dumb but I guess that's how it goes!

The catholic church gets a huge thumbs down in my book... And they wonder why they are losing soo many people at mass... Hmmmf...

I honestly dont want my kids to be catholic... The church holds everything over your head and then tries to get as much $$ outta you as possible... The way I see it, Why do I need a church to pray... I can pray anywhere and God certainly sees that

I so ffel the same way. I think the church , more now a days, is monry hungry. I believe but, i don't go to church because of that. Here I am a single mom and they were asking me for 15% of my paycheck and I was like that or putting food on the table! But, i do have to say the church I belong to now did do something very nice.....When my son made his communion one of the sisters there knew I was a single mom and sent a check to cover the money for his suit. I was greatful, plus it cover my dress and shoes as well.
