FH and I invited one of his friends to the e-party ... the friend didn't show up and gave a BS excuse the following day (via FB). We replied saying that we wish he would've let us know sooner so we didn't have to pay for his plate (maybe) and he just never responded. FH and i decided not to invite him to the wedding.
so how about you guys - have your guest lists changed at all?

Yup. FH's ex-best friend was invited to our e-party (and was supposed to be a GM). However, he showed up an hour and a half late to our three hour e-party, was hungover, and made a fool of himself. Needless to say, FH never asked him to be a GM, nor is he invited to the wedding. FH hasn't spoken to him in over a year now.

Yup! i took off a supper annoying co-worker! I really didn't want to invite her, but she ASSUMED she was going. She was 'so excited'. We aren't even close! Then, she quite like a month ago. So my plan is to never speak to her again and thus not inviting her to my wedding! Yay!

we had sent a friend a STD last year, but FH is no longer friends with him so removed him from our list.

Yep...one of my former best friends. We've been tight since sophomore year of high school. He's always been on the negative side of things, but one day last summer he started talking about my ex and FH's ex (who he had met because she started dating someone we all knew) and I asked him to stop and he didn't.
The night got worse from there, and I haven't spoken to him since.
Only recently did I start missing him...but then I remembered all of the terrible things he said (he told FH that my ex used to abuse me...which was untrue completely...please, I don't like the guy anymore, that's why he's my ex, but don't throw around wicked accusations that are FALSE).

not because of an argument or an issue but because we were running out of invites... a friend from HS that FH hasnt spoken to since then... not sure why he was even on the list... also my coworkers...

yup. we invited a friend to our e party and he never RSVPed. we had to postpone our e party to a new date bc a family member of mine passed away and FH told him about the new date and he still didn't RSVP or show up. he's so not invited to the wedding.

Yes, for the same reason actually, no show at e-party after rsvping yes. It was my parent's friends, they called my dad the next day saying they just 'forgot'.
My mom made the call to take them off the list

Yeah, a few of FH's friends who he just really doesn't talk to (like one or two) and my co-workers. I never gave them save the dates and plus I have no intentions of working here at that point.

Yes, I removed one of my best friends from college. We weren't as close anymore but I really wanted her at the wedding. She was taking forever to get back to me with her address so she got the invite to the e party really late but she had said she really wanted to come when we spoke on the phone. . . Day of the party her FB status is all about how excited she is to go to Neptunz that day. I haven't heard from her since, so she's absolutely off the list!

Yep, and after the shower I might loose a few more. I dont see the point in inviting someone just for the sake of inviting them, if your not a good enough friend to me then I dont want to share our special day with you. They havent responded to any messages and if they dont show up to the shower it will tell me how they feel about me.

Yup! About 4 people.... 1 of which was a BM who fell off the planet when it was time to order the dresses.... Still never heard from her....BEEEEOOOTTTCCCHHHHH!!!!!!

Yes, several people dont like me or have been very rude to me, so they are no longer on the list. I suspect it may cause some issues, but I refuse to have people that dont like me there. And my guest list is at 281 people...so I certainly dont need anyone extra.

Yes- A friend of mine that I had for years.
Short version: She has been acting like a total jerk lately because I havent gone to visit her- She lives in south Jersey and when we go we usually stay overnight. We cant do it as often as we used to anymore and she doesnt understand that. Then last summer she called me while we were in AC and got really nasty with me saying you can go to AC but you cant come see us. Mind you in the 25 years I have been friends with her she has come to Queens only 3 times. We had a huge fight and now she isnt on my guest list anymore.
There was alot more but it would take me days to explain
