Have you taken on another job?

I am thinking that when I'm done with grad school in August about finding another job as supplemental income. Maybe tutoring? I'm trying to figure out where I ould fit it i my busy life. And more importanty, if it will leave enough time with fh. Anyone have any suggestions for gigs that pay and dont take everyting out of you?

I dont have any suggestions.....im in the same boat as you. I was either thinking of tutoring or waitressing. The only thing about tutoring is that not many people need tutoring in the summer.

so true about tutoring. i'm in grad school til august. fh wants to join the nypd (so we'll be broke for a little bit). I dunno...

I am in the same boat as you. I was thinking of working some retail job or even an office job answering phones or something.

I'm not...but I used to work a side job at the Sharper Image in college in addition to another part-time job. It wasn't that bad..and you actually work on commission so you could make a lot of money if you're good at sales. I hear Tiffany's also pays commission...

I had 2 jobs until 3 weeks before the wedding. It was rough but the money was good and it provided me with a lot of experience for my line of work.

i havent taken another job.. just more hours... my typical work week was 35 hours.. but now I work about 55-60 a week.

I'd be way too exhausted for a second job now because my first job is too demanding of my time... but maybe I would during the summer (tutoring or something). I could definitely use the extra $$$
