Have you talked about having KIDS with your FH yet??

My FI and did a few weeks ago I brought it up..I thought he would freak but it seems he has calculated it out already!.... He wants to start trying when he is 31.. he will be 30 when we get married!

I want to wait atleast 1 1/2 to 2 years!!

Funny this topic came up since I just discussed this the other nite with friends and FH. We both would love a baby right away. He is 32, and I am 28. My clock is ticking!
Of course I want to enjoy my married life and also get a HOUSE prior to having kids.
I feel like that may take awhile to get and my odds of having children worse.
I love kids and just cant wait. Im even having baby fever now.

we also have talked about it and want to wait 2-3yrs before we try.

we want to wait until we are at least 30. we both agree either 1 or two children not more then that.

Yes we talk about it all the time. We have been since we first started going out. My honey want's kids right away. Me, i'm still undecided. I guess if it happens it happens.

And we have names already picked out.

we have been talking about this for a while.
we said after a few years of being married we would. i want before im 28 he said when im 30 lol..

BUT the other night he told me he was ITCHING for kids ---so we will see after we get married if we can afford to have kids right a way or wait

Yes, we both want 2 kids (3 if we were trying for a boy)...because I'm older (I'll be 36 when we marry), we are going to start right away (honeymoon).

We have the boy's name picked out...still tossed on the girl's name.

We already have our daughter who is 6 and will definitely be having atleast 2 more. We have not spoken about how soon after the wedding though. Good question..

he wants 3-4 I want 1 or 2. I am not ready to have kids yet, though.I am only 25 and I really love being a couple with energy and 2 incomes and lots of vacation time! i love to travel and go out to eat and I really need to get that out of my system before I think about having children.
Maybe when I am 30 I will be in a different mind set, but until then, I am going to enjoy being married.

Men are funny that way. They either completely freak out at the thought of fatherhood or have these grandiose ideas that we can house 5 or 6 kids in our wombs in 3 years. They need to settle down!!! Can THEY carry kids? GEEZ LOUISE!!!

both FH and I want 3 or 4, income permitting it will happen soon after the wedding. We've been together 9 years so we've had plenty of spontaneaty, and vacations...I was born to be a mother, it's my nature. FH loves kids too, as long as we buy our house..(hopefully it has heat and walls, on long island anyway!)

How could you get engaged/married withOUT talking about it. We've been talking about it for YEARS.
