We were having this discussion at dinner tonight with our family...i LOVE LOVE LOVE the names Gianna and Rhiannon (re AH nun) for girls. We have to name our first son Joseph because in my FH's family every man named Joseph names his first son Philip and every Philip names his first son Joseph.

We agree on Haylei for a girl......if we have a boy however we are in trouble. I love Nicholas FH says no way thats his cousins name. I think we both also like Jake, and i kinda like Matthew FH is undecided on it.

Ask him about Jessamyn . Everyone I meet thinks my name is so different. They usually say 'unique' which can be taken as good or bad.

We like Alison for a girl and Aidan for a boy. Just a coincidence that they both start with A....not intentional. I love the name Jack too but that's my nephew's name. I also love Keara, but FH has a first cousin named Keara.

We actually discussed this on our second date. Yes, we're weird, but we'd known each other for 8 years and just knew we were going to get married, have kids, the whole shebang on our second date.
I had a girl's name picked out and met a woman I LOATHED with the name (lazy, useless, snotty, infuriating) and don't think I could use it now. I've got a boy's name picked out though.
We will have a lot of trouble with middle names. Since he's Jewish, a name is supposed to be somehow after someone who's passed away (usually the first initial of the first names will be the same. We'll probably do the first initial of the first name of the deceased as the first initial of the baby's middle name). However, the initial is 'I.' There are very few names we like with that begin with I. And any name I like, he doesn't and visa versa.
Um...but this is all VERY far away for us.

I think Debi plans to carry her beach theme,a bit farther than the wedding. I believe she has mentioned 'Macy Caye' after the Caye Islands, for a girl, and Kingston, for a boy. Signed Grandma Mary

We have a boy's name for sure, a second one that I LOVE, but he's not crazy about.
He has no input for girl's names...I have 4 names I LOVe...they'll grow on him! lol

For our girl (s): Maya or Daniella For the boy(s): Tyler or Aaron
No 'L' names...DH's last name starts with an L and all three brothers have uncommon/slightly weird first names that start with 'L' because FIL thought it was cool. Luckily, DH has the most normal of the three names hahhhaha.

ya FH and i have talked about it. i made the mistake of telling a co-worker (at the time) of our choice of a girls name Lana. well guess what?!?! she got prego a few months later and named her daughter Alana. how efin original of her.
We have names picked out and thats why when people ask we tell them we don't know yet. cause we don't want anyone stealing them..lol
