If you've gotten any of the china from your registry, have you used it yet? We used ours once... but just for a dinner for ourselves

I got alot for my shower but I've been forbidden from using it until I'm married....my mom and gramma said it's bad luck and I listen to them because they are old.
just kidding.....we'll kinda, they are 'old' but that's not the reason I listen to them

i am the same way...I feel like it would be bad luck to use any of the gifts before the wedding.

did they tell you it's bad luck to use any gifts before your wedding or just the china? i've heard its bad luck to use wedding gifts before your wedding, but if they are engagement gifts... well... we're engaged! (We wouldn't have room for everything if we still had it in the boxes)
