havent posted as much lately....

i'm getting cold feet




right now i feel pressured, i feel overwhelmed

i feel like i got in way over my head and wish we could just go somewhere and elope.

It feels like that but you will get over it...

Just think about what makes you happy with the planning

everything will be ok..... and everything will work out... just try to stay organized

you are not the only feeling this way, but I am sure it will get better, at least that is what everyone else says. Cheer up

idk and thats what makes it worse....
i just feel like we're spending all this $$$ and what if it doesnt work out, what if 2yrs from now we get divorced... and then more $

and then i think is fh going to change? will he develop bad habits?

i'm thinking way too much abt a million things

oh and also doesnt help that 3 diff couples in our lives are going thru a divorce process

Completely normal!! Everyone feels this way at one point or another. Try and not worry about the wedding for awhile and think of the marriage!! If he's who you want to be with, then all this will be worth it!

you'll be fine. just because other couples in your life are getting divorced doesn't mean that has to happen to you. everyone hits rough patches and if you guys work hard everything will work itself out

I agree. Take a step back for awhile and don't even talk or try to think about wedding planning and go about your 'everyday' life.

There are always going to be 'what-if's'. What if I spend all this $ and we get divorced, what if I take this job/apt/home, but there's a better one waiting for me.'
Is it FH that your worried about or marriage in general?

Hang in there Jeannette.

I think we all go through this. Just because you have other people in your life going through a divorce doesnt mean you will too. Just remember back to why you and FH fell in love and decided to get married.

Here's the thing ..

None of us know. Nobody knows whats even going to happen tomorrow. What we do know is this....

There is a reason he asked you to marry him and theres a reason you said yes. The love that you feel now can change and might change but .. it also may keep getting better and better. The two of you will grow together and make it work. And if it doesnt work out then you live and learn. But we cant live our lives based on what ifs ...

If you are truly questioning this then you need to talk to him and figure out what the deal is. But the three people getting divorced, as discouraging as that is, its not you and him .. and it wont be if you keep the lines of communication open. People do change - but you will either change together or you wont. But you need to ask yourself .. Is it worth the try???
