Having a bad day! Just need to vent!

We spent over 3 hours last night looking at invites.....fell in LOVE with one that was PERFECT for us. I phoned this morning to order them.......i was told they are DISCONTINUED!!!!! Back to the drawing board.........

Then I find out that 3 of my bridesmaid have NOT ordered their dresses yet. I thought everyone has sent their orders in!!! So I phone the bridal salon and ask how long it will take for these last orders to arrive. They said a minimum of 3 months........ So now I am in the middle of trying to get them ordered (with my MOH's help) so these girls won't have to pay a rush fee, AND get them here in time for the wedding and alterations........

they are lucky that i haven't gone bridezilla on them yet!!!!

arrrrgh!!!! I hate sht like that! hang in there.. it'll be over in a few months

Sorry about your bride's maids not ordering their dresses. That stinks!!!! What are you waiting for - Go bridezilla on them now!!!!

they really just dont understand sometimes!!

ALL but one BM ( who happens to be my FSIL ), has yet to go. She's going tomm. I have the same dilemma about this. I don't work well under stress like this, especially since they said they would take 3-4 months to come in. Realistically, their final fitting should be some time in April. I'm the dresses will be in. My consultant said if she orders by the end of Janurary, I'll be ok. I need this like I need a whole in the head!

Don't stress over the BM dresses. I had the same problem and finally they were ordered with out having to pay a rush fee. They told me 3 months they were here no time. I dont even think it was a month in a half. I think places just say it to get more money. Good luck with the invites

Where are you guys going to get your dresses that there is so much time and no rush fee? I just went over the weekend and the lady was telling me that we have to get it in now because if not then we'd be taking a chance of it ot coming in or I'd be paying a rush fee.
Am I getting fooled?

Uggh Kristy, you poor thing!!! Sounds so frustrating!!!

It will all come together...and you'll forget about this day when your wedding is finally here!!

Wow...I am also surprised you havent gona Bridezilla on them yet either... That is just horrible news from start to finish. Sorry about the invites..it really does s uck when you fall in love with something and then find out they dont have them anymore ...but ur BM's...they need to get on with things...you only have a few months...and although you have to rush order them now, let them know to get their butts into action!

Hey it could be worse - by the time my MOH (MY FREAKIN SISTER) and another BM decided it was time to get dresses it was too late to order from the Impressions Separates line even though everyone else already had!!

So now my sister is wearing a one piece Alfred Angelo dress (that thankfully looks like a two piece) and my other BM is wearing a custom dress.

My color is chocolate brown so hopefully it will all look ok - not to mention that yet a THIRD bridesmaid is wearing a dress from yet ANOTHER designer - Mori Lee I think because her sister is getting married in May and ALSO using chocolate brown. I thought only 1 girl may look a bit out of place now 3 out of the 7 will be different.

How I have not totally lost my mind is beyond me. But seriously, what can I do? What will freaking out get me? Instead I'M the one consoling my sister, promising her that she won't look stupid in a different dress....

W T F?!?!?!



So no worries - IT WILL BE GREAT!
