I sent in my paperwork for my Bridesmaid dresses to Aria (located in LA) and they call to confirm when they've received the paperwork and it's in the system.
I called on Thursday & they said they still hadn't gotten the paperwork.....I sent it certified mail and still haven't received that little green receipt back. I'm having a slight panic attack b/c everyones info....including credit card info. was in that packet and if that got lost, I might cry!
doesn't everyone think if I sent something to CA last Monday afternoon they should totally have it by now?
I even double checked the address like a million times, I know it was right, I couldn't even sleep last night thinking about this.

You never know with the USPS. It's possible that it's still on it's way, especially since it's going to CA. It will probably take a couple of days for you to get the slip back once it gets there too. Can you call the dress company and give them the information over the phone instead?

This information is all true and you should call and give them you info on the phone just to be safe.

its probably sitting on somebody's desk; it will get done. Besides, you aren't getting married until JUNE. You have PLENTY of time.....even if the worst case scenario happened (say, the lost it) WHICH WILL NOT HAPPEN, than you still have time to re-order the same dresses elsewhere. Don't panic.....it will get there this week for sure.

Well, this time of year is always slow for mail because of holiday cards and such, but I would still expect your mail to have made it to CA by now. I would call the dress company and give them the information or fax it if possible. As for the postal office, I would try raising hell. There is just too much information in that envelope that does not need to end up in the wrong hands.

Since you sent it certified, does that mean you have a confirmation number or something? Can you call the USPS and find out whats the problem?

How did you send it? It takes like 5-7days to send something to CA via certified mail with the post office. Did you pay for delivery confirmation so that you could track the order?

OK, it does.....that makes me feel better & you can't track certified mail until after it's been 'lost' for 30 days which doesn't make sense but whatever.
I'm not concerned about not ordering the dresses, I'm more concerned with my girls & my Credit card info. just floating around, ya know.
