Having a rough week..need some prayers..

So I never ever ask for prayers/thoughts b ut this week I could use them. My grandpa has parkinson's and his health has been deteriorating this year. My grandma has been debating putting him into a nursing home because she can't provide the care he needs. He has been in and out of the hospital since may and was admitted yesterday. We thought he had a stroke but it was just the disease. She has decided to put him into a home. It is just so sad. I just want to cry for them. He just keeps saying 'Please don't make me go. I won't ask her (my grandma) to do anything for me, i promise.' It is just awful.

On top of that, my cousin who is 32 suffered two heart attacks late monday night. It turns out that he had a virus that attacked his heart. Luckily there was no damage and he will be ok...just so scary.

Sorry to be Debbie downer..i just need a hug and FH isnt home tonight lol

i'm sorry to hear of your troubles. i will keep you in my prayers. the best you can do is be there for your family and when FH gets home get a SERIOUS HUG!!!

omg, i'm so sorry. that's got to be incredibly painful for both of your grandparents.

sooo sorry laur! i will keep them in my prayers! anytime i hear a story like that, i think of the end of the notebook and it makes me so sad to think that 1 day, we too may have to go through something similar with our fh's

Oh sweetie- I am so sorry about your Gramps and Cousin. I am praying for them both. It's hard watching a Grandparent go into a nursing home. My Grandma had Parkinsons as well so I know what you are going through. 32 is much too young for a heart attack but he's going to be okay so that's good. Keep us updated on their progress.

its an awful disease isnt it? I mean nothing is REALLY wrong but his body just doesn't want to work well basically. SO sad.
